Chismosa Cafe started as Pop Up/Catering Company. We worked out of shared Kitchens and did events all over L.A, I.E and O.C. We did some long standing pop ups in Upland, Mantra Coffee (Azusa), L.A River. After years 4 years of grinding it out at breweries, events, farmers markets, and music festivals (WON BEST TACO AT KLOS SABROSO FEST!!!!) we have finally opened up our first location in West Covina, Ca. We found a new location in Downtown Covina and are happy to be part of the community. We hope to be the place where all the Chismosa’s can enjoy some wonderful brunch and coffee.

About The Chef

Allen’s cooking is inspired by his Mexican American roots. Growing up in East Los Angeles he was exposed to amazing Mexican Food by his grandmother. He started working in various L.A kitchens at the age of 19, from Fast Food to French Cuisine. His food is a playful love letter to his California/ Latino upbringing and all the strong women who helped raise him.
